A unique, interactive feature of Australian Landscapes is the annotated image. When the mouse is passed over the aerial photograph selected areas will appear that relate to a particular geographical phenomena. When clicked on, information (textual and often photographic) of the particular feature selected appears in a dialogue box to the right of the image. This method allows the student to visually and spatially correlate textual information given. This interactivity encourages students to explore the image in front of them and its associated features.
